Gather with us to explore mindfulness and meditation, wellbeing, yoga, communication and relational practices in a serene and intimate setting with other women committed to supporting each other. We invite women of all backgrounds who are open to learning and sharing together.

Registration:

$25 per full day or $10 per partial day / one session

We want this event to be accessible to unwaged individuals and students. Please contact registration@mindfulnessgathering.com, send us a private message through our Facebook page, or talk to Amanda, Sharla or Paula about attending. 


Lodging and meals:

Breakfast – $10
Lunch – $15
Lodging – $25 / night (Thursday only)

*After you submit your request for a booking, payment instructions for your donation and lodging or food will be emailed to you (via Paypal or bank transfer).


Accommodations at the Sacred Falls International Meditation Center are basic and include a sheltered sleeping area and mats to sleep on the floor. Please bring your own bedding. Electricity is available but limited. Bathroom facilities (toilets, showers and a sink) are in a separate structure just outside of the main building. Each sleeping area is shared with at least one other person.

7:00 pm – welcome, introduction and sharing circle
8:00 – yoga, guided meditation and group activities

9:00 – day I introduction
9:30 – Sharla: stress and boundaries*
11:00 – break
11:15 – guided meditation/chant with Venerable Fred*
Noon – silent group lunch followed by meditation walk
afternoon
1:15 pm – Amanda: pursuing and embracing your purpose*
3:30 – Paula: fostering empathy through creation*
5:00 – closing meditation / optional group meal

Saturday 31 August
morning
8:00 am – yoga and meditation*
9:00 – Chad: letting go of fear in the face of conflict, part I
10:30 –  ancestor ceremony at the Buddhist temple*
Noon – group lunch, hosted by the center
afternoon
1:00 pm  – Chad: letting go of fear, part II*
2:30 – yoga and meditation
3:15 – Sharla: relational mindfulness*
4:45 –  reflections
5:30 – closing circle
